The Tripoli International Fair was honored today in the Arab Republic of Egypt by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as the oldest member in the Middle East and Africa.
The Fair has maintained its UFI membership for ninety‑six years, making it one of the longest-standing members in the region.
The commemorative shield was received by Mr. Islam Jaafar, Director General of the Tripoli International Fair.
More than 165 participants are taking part in the conference’s activities, including senior executives, prominent representatives of the exhibition industry, organizers and directors of exhibition and convention centers, and key decision-makers.
Participants represent over 31 countries, including Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Tunisia, Lebanon, Qatar, Germany, Portugal, Thailand, China, Canada, France, India, England, Italy, Belgium, Kenya, Rwanda, Algeria, Türkiye, Jordan, the Netherlands, the United States, Nigeria, Mauritania, South Africa, and Bahrain.
