Opening of the 12th Libya International Telecommunications and Information Technology Forum & Exhibition
On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the 12th Libya International Telecommunications and Information Technology Forum & Exhibition was inaugurated this evening at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds.
The opening ceremony was attended by:
- Mr. Nasruddin Milad Al‑Fazzani, Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries
- Dr. Rabia Abu Ras, Member of the House of Representatives
- Mr. Abdel‑Salam Nasr Jad Al‑Mawla, Acting General Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources
- Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Hussein, Chairman of the Libyan Telecommunications Holding Company
- Eng. Essam Al‑Aoul, Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences
- Mr. Yassin Mohammed Al‑Abyad, General Manager of the Economic and Social Development Fund
- Mr. Shukri Al‑Taif, General Manager of the Tripoli International Fair
Also present were several CEOs and directors of telecommunications companies under the Libyan Telecommunications Holding Company, as well as a number of ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps.
The 12th edition of the Libya International Telecommunications and Information Technology Forum & Exhibition reflects the ongoing development in the telecommunications and IT sector. It continues to serve as an important platform for exchanging expertise and ideas and staying informed about the latest advancements in telecommunications and information technology.
The forum and exhibition will run until Friday, 19 December 2025, featuring a variety of events, workshops, and technology showcases with the participation of experts and specialists.
