Opening of the First Libyan Exhibition for Scientific Research, Innovation, and Investment
On Sunday, 14 December 2025, Mr. Shukri Al‑Taif, General Manager of the Tripoli International Fair, accompanied by Mr. Faisal Abdel‑Azim Al‑Abdali, Chairman of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, and Mr. Fathi Al‑Mansouri, Vice President of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, inaugurated the activities of the First Libyan Exhibition for Scientific Research, Innovation, and Investment at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds.
The event was also attended by directors of research centers, university presidents, and a number of researchers and interested professionals.
This exhibition, held under the slogan “Towards a Sustainable Knowledge Economy,” aims to enhance the role of scientific research and innovation in supporting sustainable development pathways, and to build effective partnerships between the outputs of scientific research and various investment sectors—contributing to the establishment of a knowledge‑based economy in Libya.
The exhibition will continue until Tuesday, 16 December.
